I do like the way Arkansas brands themselves the "Omahog's" with that signage behind home plate.
SEC and Georgia better watch out with that 27M practice center. Looks like Ark will be dominating the conference in baseball the way Bama does in football.

Arkansas’s baseball program reminds me in someways of Clemson’s football program. They have a heck of a coach, best facilities in the country, and a strong commitment from the top. And a great passionate fan base. I have no problem with them winning Omaha as they’ve probably committed more to college baseball than any other school.

Are on the same level as big commitment to baseball. Arguably bigger than football at the moment at 3 of those schools (not LSU).
The second tier is like Texas, Texas tech, TCU, south Carolina, Vanderbilt.
Sadly Clemson is no longer among the top committed programs

Vandy Baseball is way bigger than their football program. I consider Vandy the gold standard of college baseball most years.

Vandy is new money. They'd never had a CWS appearance until 2011 and only had 3 tournament appearances total before 2000. Tim Corbin has pretty much built them from the ground up.

Ha, true. I tend to pull for programs who act like they give a rip, if they obviously aren’t playing Clemson. That’s my only reason for pulling for Arkansas. I just can’t pull for NCState in anything or Norte Dame for that matter.
I have issues with the whole conference allegiance thing I guess. Some pull for ACC teams, unless they play the coots, I can’t do it.

Arkansas had 3 guys circling a pop fly in foul territory and nobody caught it. Would have been the 3rd out and closed out a two-game sweep to win the CWS.
Oregon State ended up taking the lead and winning game 2. Game 3 was an masterpiece pitching performance by Kevin Abel of OSU where Arkansas had no chance.
