I can see it being ok. We have a great win over a smaller school and a bad loss over a Great team and ND has a great win over decent Tammy Texas team an a close loss to a smaller school. If we take care of business the rest of the year then we will have our shot a rankings.

Clemson needs to earn the respect of the pollster. At present we have lost 1 game and won 1 game over App State who is not a p5 school.

What do you expect?

If polls were realistic this early in the season we wouldn't be ranked.

It ain't about how we're ranked now: it's all about how we're ranked at the end of the season.

AP poll is nothing more than a talking point now, just like the coaches poll.

Until the CFP poll comes out, it doesn't mean much.

They mean nothing. They do them for ESecPN to promote ranked matchups of the so everyone cheats conference cannabilizing themselves.

At least Notre Dame won a game at Texas A&M.

I have a bigger problem with Michigan. I have no idea why they are ranked in the top 25.

Michigan got manhandled by Texas from the first series onward. Never a contest.

At least we played one good solid first half of football versus UGA.

the playoff committee showed us that the four best teams were always selected. There's some arguments against that but so far the crown has always been placed on the right head.

In times past that was not always true.

Notre Dame's loss is being considered by the media as a fluke. Clemson's blowout loss was no fluke.

We are 1-1 with a win over App State and a 31 pt loss to Georgia? We also lost 4 games and finished 20th last year. Where do you think we should be ranked?
