If Haynes is out against Texas and Mafah looks slow and injured like he has for most of November we are going to be in for a very long night on the 21st.

Hopefully it is not as serious as it looked and he is day to day. And hoping the two weeks helps Mafah heal and back to normal.

I don’t believe we can count on Haynes for the rest of this season. Mafah is going to gut it out like the warrior that he is, but he can’t do it alone. We have the following options:
Hammerhead
Jarvis Green
EZ

Green,same,not translating well from hs to college
If they smart it's ez,and i been saying since say 1 he is the best pure all around back we have on roster over everyone including mafah...can't wait for the show

I hope Eziomume gets some reps. You're right, if Mafah isn't healthy you're throwing downs away handing the ball off to him, Keith Adams isn't anything better, he can get you 3 yards but he won't keep a defense honest. It's gotta be Eziomume.

It's just a matter of whether Dabo wants to release that information publicly yet or not.
Based on what I saw on the play, he is done for the year and has some significant rehab ahead of him.

Has anyone ever addressed the question of why he tried to run it out? Since we now get the ball on the 25 yard line it makes no sense to run the ball out except for in a dire and desperate situation.

I know it's crazy, but I think I'd like Sammy to take a few handoffs at this point.
Our running game has really put us in a bad position trying to keep offense on the field.

Suppose it could be a knee sprain/hypertension, but it's probably ligament damage. Either way, he's not available for the CFP.

We have 3 additional back, Termite, Jarvis and Ez. If after a year or more as backups they are not ready to play then it is time they enter the portal. Sorry for sounding harsh but if player are going to get paid then it is time to produce or let them leave. That is what we do in my business.

From the looks of it, he most likely tore ligament(s) in his knee and will probably need surgery.
2 weeks will not heal Mafah’s shoulder as he most likely needs surgery. We have to give Keith and David a shot. There’s no way they are worse than Mafah at 60% health.
