Any predictions as to what the SEC does regarding the

Tennessee game last night?

The SEC fines schools $250k for storming the field so what are the consequences for 20 minutes of fans throwing garbage onto the field and at opposing players?

Probably nothing. Look at all of the garbage from the chickens throwing bottles, batteries and other junk on the field at opposing teams and nothing happens so it is a SEC thing.

Seems like I recall...

.. in a game years back (might have been a Coots' game), people throwing things were identified via video tape and fined or charged.

Throwing at someone is "assault" and hitting them is "battery" (not the same as a battery for your remote) by law (not being a lawyer, I am not 100% certain on this but pretty sure). If individuals can be identified they may be charged in this case at Tennesee.

Normal for the SEC

They’re very against “Storming the Field”.

But their normal is living in a landfill, so they have a substitute tradition. Most people from outside the SEC call it “throwing trash”, but within the SEC it’s called “Norming the Field”, cuz living in a pile of trash is normal.

If I was the SEC Commisioner, I would ban all night games at TN for the rest of this season and next year. Plus fine TN $250,000 and limit the number of scholsrships TN can offer to 150 rather than the normal 300+ now.

But I'm not the commissioner and nothing probably will happen but maybr a fine.

Strip their Aky-haul sales conference approval. Losing that revenue stream would sting.

It is the SEC office. They could spot Bama a couple of touchdowns for the game this Saturday.
