Any advice for traveling into Boston tomorrow?

Oct 7, 2022, 9:14 AM

Never been to Boston. My family and I will be staying in the downtown area.

Is Uber the best transportation from and to the airport?

Plan to use the T to get to the game. From downtown, how long does it take?

You can catch a silver bus to the T from the airport I believe. It's been a couple of years since I've been up there.

Bus trip from the airport is a good way to travel. The MTA is by far the best way to travel out to Chestnut Hill. You will likely use the MTA a lot while in Boston. Say hello to Charley for me.

Get a travel brochure and decide what you want to see on this trip. Apparently the weather will be nice so you can walk the Freedom Trail. Marketplace is one venue the ladies will like.

Take MTA out to Harvard and MIT..

Poor Charlie. Never did get off of that thing. That was originally a jingle in a radio commercial written to promote a Boston area candidate for (i think) city council. I have that song on a collection of folk songs from the early sixties.

The "T" will take about 15-20 mins from downtown

Men at 25 play football. Men at 40 play tennis. Men at 60 play golf. Have you noticed as men get older their balls get smaller.

Just as a heads up, the Green line is down this weekend. The bus times are going to take longer. You can go to the site mbta.com and "plan" your trip there. It will give you all the info!
