Has completely #### the bed And wrangled its way to the lesser tier. Football outside Clemson sucks and now basketball sucks too. It’s a money thing. Money attracts top coaches, facilities, talent. BIG and SEC have outmaneuvered us and the ACC has just bent over and taken it.

I guess the NCAA just isn’t a governing body. But as much as we want to pick on 18 year olds for NIL, transfer etc, the rich old white men in the building turned this into a business long ago and created all the inequities and non-competitiveness.

Honest question. Is this what has set the SEC aside from the ACC? We fight like cats and dogs but pull for each other against other conferences. No school is more important than the conference. A rising tide raises all boats. If we have one of the finest locker rooms then we want our conference brothers to have one just as nice. If we have a 100,000 seat stadium then we hope everyone else in the conference would have one, too.

Kind of surprises me that I see so much hatred on this board for all the other ACC members. Our Southern states were dependent upon one another in our fight against invasion. That has carried over to support for our conference members and you guys being the fire breathing Southern state that was right there with us.....well it's hard to understand why you want all your conference mates to lose. We're all supposed to be in this for the betterment of our conference against the others.

Most intelligent fans would prefer the league to be more competitive. Right now, the league is abysmal in football and basketball. I would argue that this is due to poor head coaching choices as much as money. Look around the league in football and basketball and you will see a bunch of mediocre head coaches.

leadership that was good at business, and they viewed the conference correctly. We have had poor leadership as a conference and often seem at least to only better the interests of the schools they have ties too. So yes, ya'll may be better at holding each other's hands, but I also think we've suffered from poor leadership.

Its a misperception because the top teams dominate and you have ESPN telling everyone how great the entire league is, but that just isnt so.

Absolutely true. Typically two teams are good from sec in football one is dominant. Rest are just ok. But when you put 8-10 in the top 25 from the start it is a self fulfilling prophecy they must be good because number 8 beat number 15. And then each year you figure out ole miss really isn’t as good as their hype. Then at the beginning of the next year we do it all over again. Now it extends to basketball.
