No general admission parking anymore at C-1 lot for 2024 season per transportation website, iptay says the whole lot is now iptay. Kiss general admission parking goodbye.

Yep and I know more than a few parents of current students who are mad at this. Makes it basically impossible for family weekend unless you can grab someone else’s IPTAY pass.

Ill take it over a parking garage.

Does this reflect an increase in IPTAY membership?

If so, that is an unfortunate result of something positive.

It’s a result of expansion and losing ground space. I learned long ago that I could take the 10k I was spending, build an elaborate backyard entertainment facility. Now I choose to watch multiple games and not consume my whole Saturday with going. Overall I’m happier and then just go to the games I want. I come out cheaper this way.

Same. No more getting up at the crack of dawn to beat the traffic for a noon game or getting home at the middle of the night from an eight PM kickoff. Avoid the drama with playing musical chairs on seat locations or parking spaces.

Makes it very hard for those that want to come for just one game. There has to be a better option.

Appears IPTAY is trying to make single game attendance difficult. They don't want us buying a Stub Hub ticket for one game when we can spend $10K for all the games and go to a couple. I too watch them from my air conditioned den.

i dont work for IPTAY but i'm fairly confident in stating that

IPTAY is NOT trying to make single game attendance difficult.

They are doing what they can with the increased demand and limited space. Clemson University decides what can and can not be built on their Campus. When they tear down Johnstone they could put in a 300 level parking garaged to provide plenty of parking. Or they could put in a parking lot to give IPTAY more parking. Clemson University said no way.. that will be a green space.

Clemson could tear down the crap hole that is Thornhill and build a huge parking lot. They probably will not. IF history holds true, they will demolish Thornhill they will put up a dorm with limited parking.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

i purposely request parking below my donation level for consistency.

i get crappier parking but at least i get it every year so i don't keep up with the changes...

did they make the lots across the street from Kite Hill public? lots P5, P6, P7, and P8 ?

There are a lot of paved spots over there but i have no idea what they are used for.

I think the solar lots like you mention is the students move their cars to lot to replace kite hill students.

Bigger question is where is public communication in advance from Clemson or IPTAY on where exactly is general admission parking for everyone’s planning and how many spots is it?? Season starts soon, where is info??

IPTAY is a non compete in the NIL era

Clemson has to win vs Georgia for this while parking restructuring project to work

if it doesn't

casual fans will not go to games
and die hard fans will not go to hurricane season games with lots half empty

the home schedule is so hard to get excited for
Stanford UVA ...BC State is a garbage game but it to seem like an FSU or ND

the 2024 season is looking like a gamble
and general parking is not going to be a thing because too many campus projects are happening

in other words

recruits will not see a home game that has a packed stadium and is a decision maker unless the UGA game is a W

it's truly a cornerstone year and a prep year for an SEC 2025 season

I am a long time IPTAY member and had to jump a level from Champion to Tiger to keep my parking. We have already read on here the issues that people have had with getting bumped down to shuttle bus parking lots. I am going to try to say this in the nicest way possible. IPTAY members are currently paying through the nose for the ability to park and keep our seats. If the folks that are paying the bills(IPTAY) and keeping things afloat are getting the shaft, do you feel that the powers that be care about general admission parking? I hate it because this is not the Clemson from my youth and student days but, it reflects the current situation with the program.

First home game is a night game, no general admission parking, no more student cars on Kite Hill, no parking on perimeter road shoulder most likely with new four lane highway-curb-walking path-landscaping. Sounds like a traffic and parking mess. How to get there or how to legally park may be in question but Go Tigers!!!!

Sort of sounds like we are being run by Washington. I was pushed out some time ago. We enjoy watching the games on TV, getting up for a snack or drink when you want to. I do not miss sending my hard earned money to the stuffed shirts one bit.

You are correct in saying Clemson is not what it use to be in more ways than one. The only good thing we have is Dabo, and I don't know how much longer he is going to be around. When his last son graduates would be a good time to hang it up. JMO.
