($10 bond). Not wearing seat belt ($10 bond). Expired dealers tag ($10 bond). And finally, driving 106 mph ($10 bond). Poor kid had to pay a whooping $50 bond. Though I was born and educated in Georgia, if memory serves me right, their laws were a little stiffer back in my day. Just saying.

We played golf the day before, and when I stopped at a convenience store on the way back to the hotel, I grabbed a single beer, thinking I needed one more. The clerk explained to me that GA law (at least at that time) did not allow the sale of a single beer. When I asked why, they said to combat drinking and driving. So I bought a six pack and away I went.
