failed to make the CFP. I haven't heard anything so I'm assuming the Dynasty is over? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Crickets. Obviously losing thrilling close or overtime games is better than beating a ranked team. Only win was an early season snoozefest over an overrated Texas team.. which if I remember correctly, there was a bad call, a boneheaded coach decision and Texas should have won.

There are a few reasons for Alabama’s fall…

1) Recruiting fell off last year. Just look at the rankings.
2) They have not utilized the portal well enough.
3) Saban’s insistence on hiring washed up assistant coaches who couldn’t cut it elsewhere.
4) Saban’s pay raises. He has become complacent and lost his hunger.
5) Saban has gotten too hands on with the defense, and is not letting his coordinator do his job.
6) Saban is a liar. He said HUNH caused more injuries, and should be banned, when there was no evidence of this. That hurt a lot of fan’s feelings.

Definitely the landscape of college football is changing. I wonder if Dabo or Saban will stay through their lastest contract extension. NZiL and the TP has made it far easier for above average teams to snag the right player from the portal that can make an immediate impact. A great example of this is LSU’s NC team!
They got the right QB they made them click. They were 1 year wonders.
I hope this is not the future of CF!
