Any Clemson fan is justified in having any combination of those emotions at this point in the season.
Me? I'm beyond surprised, I'm shocked. I'm also disappointed. But, most of all I think I'm just bumfuzzled. I see what is happening but I just can't believe it. This season is NOTHING like I was expecting.
I expected Clemson to go 15-0 with DJ winning the Heisman. That's how wrong I was.

I'm leaving Tuesday morning heading to my wife's college reunion. Will be on the road coming home Saturday and Sunday. Will have very limited access to the internet.
But, I wouldn't smack talk anyway.
1. I'm not a big smack talker in the first place.
2. I definitely don't smack talk on boards where I am a guest. (But, I did do my fair share os smack on the FSU boar I was on when Spurrier was the Gator head coach.)
Now, what a difference two months make. Like most of y'all, last August I honestly thought you would hang 40 on us in the first half and hang 70 on us if Dabo didn't call the dogs off.
Now, I am actually allowing myself to dream of the slim possibility we could pull the upset. I'm not expecting it. And, if the miracle should happen, I still won't smack talk here next week.
But, it does appear that FSU is on the right track heading in the right direction.

How I feel about Saturdays anymore , it’s pathetic all the way around and it’s crazy that I wake up expecting to lose which has really made it easier to be honest … we have so many issues right now on the offensive side of the ball … I’m more excited about the off season and how we rebound and see what kind of character this program really has !
