App beat a solid ECU team. But they certainly don’t look great.

Regardless, Clemson hasn’t beat down an opponent like we did App St in a long time. Not sure how much App St’s record should actually have an impact on our confidence.

Week one made me confident that our team had plenty to work on.

It stripped them of pride but humility has a great value. Week two made me see the value of that humility and a week off to access the change has returned me to the days when I expected close games, some of which at times went down to the wire so that's what I expect to see tomorrow.

Now perhaps Dabo can keep the promises he made to those recent recruits, 'If you work and do your job on the way you'll see playing time.'

I love seeing the younger players on the field.

You have a great point. I am going to look at it as the glass half full. Against Georgia the defense played great untill they were too tired to. Offensive play calling was terrible.
Against a not so good App State team we executed well. Doesn't matter how bad the other team is, you still have to place the ball in the right place. Playcalling was different and you could see the confidence in our young Tigers grow. We did what we were supposed to do, beat down an inferior opponent. I truly believe this is our run to Charlotte.
