drop 8 on most plays as Elliott stated. If you watch, they occasionally left a backer or two at the line (moving toward the line of scrimmage), but the idea they were dropping 8 into zone coverage every play is just not true.

Most of the snaps I saw were 4-5 man pressures, some delayed, with the occasional 6 man pressure. Lots of hovering at the LOS by the backers, but the backer were not dropping back and taking deep threats out of play.

if a backer cant take a deep threat away it isnt much of a deep threat

There were some 3 man pressures on 3rd and long and one on 2nd and long, but it was definitely the minority.

it seemed at least 5 were hitting Shipley up the middle every time he ran it.

There used to be a couple fellas that would post film study and play breakdown after each game. That's been a few years but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had nothing to do with personal opinion or pointing out player or coaches mistakes.

That said, my question to you all is this. Was said plays just mis reads on dj's part? Were there open receivers downfield? Was it just the wrong call from TE/Dabo. I recall at least twice that the line crashed down and DJ should have pulled it but instead gave it to the rb who got stuffed for a loss once and no gain another.

4.7 yrd per play average isn't winning many games. How can DJ have looked so good last year and a complete 180 this year.
