I felt bad for Manny until I was reminded of his treatment of Temple when accepted and quit the job in just a few days.

Cristobal's high water mark was beating Ohio State early in the year but has otherwise been on a downward trajectory - especially after getting curb-stomped by Utah twice in 3 weeks... He has one PAC-12 title to his credit but that was more like being the tallest midget out of a group of dwarf's than anything else.

Miami's problem is that they are caught in a mental prison of Christmas past (i.e. Jimmy Johnson/Dennis Erickson years). The Johnson Miami culture that existed during that 10 year run was built on an unsustainable sh*t show model that will never be allowed to exist again in college football. Until Miami stops living in their mental prison they are doomed to have a mediocre program. Get rid of the false swag poison that is killing their program that associates Miami with a culture that will never be allowed to exist. Maybe Cristobal can break them out of it but I rather doubt it since they hired him because he is an alumni of that Miami sh*t show...
