No offense, but unless something is done, we are about to be on permanent probation and it’s a direct result of Schools like Wake not pulling their weight. If a school like Southern Cal is saying this was about saving themselves, Clemson isn’t ignore the writing on the wall. We are not on the same Brand level as Southern Cal, Texas, or OU, recent success included.
It’s time to stop being ignorant (not directed at you). The revenue gap will mean the relegation of Clemson. We will not be able to keep staff, keep up with the facilities, etc.

BC is a huge television market for the ACC.

The B1G would pick them up quick if the ACC booted them. Makes more sense geographically anyway. Not sure Wake would be an attractive pickup for either the SEC or B1G since they don't represent a large TV market or have the curb appeal that a school like the UNC would have.

Concern about media market size drops in importance as over the air and cable signals fade in favor of streaming.
Retired in Arizona my Saturday early mornings each Fall are filled with best games regardless of game venue. This internet feast continues thru the 8pm west coast kickoffs meaning we enjoy college football from 8-9am till near midnight. Gotta love it!
