It would cost Stanford and the ACC teams a fortune to fly back and forth across the country for games and matches. Notre Dame has no need to be in the ACC for football. Changes are 100% about money and television so unless schools from Texas would join the ACC, we are out of luck.
Are you sure you want Clemson to go up there and play in front of those mad crazed 30,000 fans? Shiver! Yes good team but not the same as Texas or USC (real USC) . It's like putting together a superhero team and your rival adds the Hulk and you show him up by adding Hawkeye. Geez.
I think we are missing the point here. ACC has been so competitive for years, we are now light years behind - in money and choices of who to add. We can come up with list all day but it will look like the Big 12 and who they added and what did it do for them - nothing. As to ND, we need to move on. ACC keeps praying for them to come on board and be the savior. Not gonna happen. If they do join any conference [despite their contract with ACC] it will be Big 10. ND just plays us for the chumps we are.
