I really think the way FSU and Miani are playing they should be ranked. They are least playing the best basketball of 20 teams in the last month.
Notre Dame and Wake also have potential to run off long runs. UNC maybe.

Going by the OP, it's 7th.
Miami and FSU tied for 1st @ 6-2
Duke and ND tied for 2nd @ 5-2
UNC 3rd @ 4-2
Wake 4th @ 5-3
Louisville and UVA tied for 5th @ 5-4
BC is 6th @ 3-4
Clemson and Syracuse tied for 7th @ 3-5

the ACC have only ONE team ranked. Shoot, back in the day, it was more likely that the league would have 4 teams in the TOP TEN.
And yet, Brown-L STILL cannot succeed above historical averages. So, when you look at it that way, his numbers are NOT as good as past coaches from a "real world" perspective. He is just sinking at the same rate as the rest of the league. Some of those Ellis, or Purnell teams would blow this version of the ACC apart.

Most years a team that is .500 in the ACC has a chance to make the Big Dance but not this year. The other Power 5 conferences are so much better than the ACC this year and it will be be tough to get more than 4 teams into the tournament. I can see 5 or 6 more potential wins but it will be a stretch at even that.
