ACC Basketball

Is down overall but I think this an opportunity for Clemson to finish in the top 5! As long as we stay consistent we will make some noise and work our way into the madness in March!

That is the same thing I've thought for the last 2 years. Hopefully this year will be different, but I'm not going to celebrate yet. That's why you play the games.

If we can make it through the season with no one in a cast, no one in concussion protocol, nobody missing 2-3 games with the flu, and a lot fewer of those desperation 3-point throws that are not actual shots, we should be able to make a strong showing.

PJ has to stay well and out of foul trouble. We are small so we have to rebound and we have to make 35% of our 3's.

I agree.
The ACC has been horrible for the past 10+ years. Yes, it is top heavy with Duke and then a rotating series of teams, but below about the top 2/3, it has been historically bad.
Growing up watching ball in the 70s, then attending Clemson 77-81, the ACC was far and away - the beast. The bottom of the ACC was still very good. Now, not so much.
I sure loved Basketball back then. The energy has left Littlejohn over the past dozen years. Would be nice to get it back, even with poor ACC.
