A coordinator name you can

maybe strike off your list is Marion Hobby. I would never say never, but on this one it's close. He told me when he left the first time that he didn't like to recruit and that was why he bolted when he did. The man simply is not a fan of recruiting. And I spoke with someone today who laughed at the notion, saying, "That bridge with Dabo was burned to a crisp, the ashes swept into the river, the river dried up, and then the dry riverbed burned."

No....give everyone a day to think about things and settle down. Things are not as bleak as everyone is making them out to be.

figure if he is hiring from within would be best to make the replacement known quick to try and plug any recruiting leaks

Thank you for all the information. Looking forward to more depth in the days to come. In my techno business, we never looked at a glass as half empty/half full but just a half of glass.
We just lost our best employee, and may be on the cusp of losing our next best employee. Both who may or may not take other employees with them. The sky may not be falling, but there's right to be very concerned.
I'd very much appreciate the real facts. I, for one don't need a rah rah or a sales pitch. Bottom line IS recruiting. We were barely treading water b4 this. Tia., Really do appreciate the dedication.

Well that timing is perfect. I just inquired about SI’s article which included Hobby. They also speak well of Manny from Miami (if he would be willing to step back to being a coordinator again)

I fully agree. None the less, it was an article that had just come across my news feed.

If it's the one I got, it mentioned Gary patterson as well. That's NOT a bad idea, good recruiter. Same with Wisky d coordinator. They run the same CBV philosophy. Would be easy for existing personnel and players to plug into.
Recruit recruit recruit.

They bulldozed the banks into it, planted a peach orchard, updated all the maps, burned the peach orchard, burned the new maps, sold the burned peach orchard to a commercial developer for 500 million, then they had a fire at the headquarters and lost all their records and went bankrupt, we bought the the land back for $10……and now we’re thinking about burning it one last time. New maps should be out soon. There is no longer any record that a river was ever there……it’s like Atlantis now.
