SB Nation has us as a 7 seed...###?

I don't see the big deal about stressing over seeding. If we are a 4 we have to play a 5 2nd round. If we are a 5 we may have to play a 4 2nd round. We have to beat em either way.

But, 7 is just no respect. Maybe I looked at it wrong.

SBNation is a site that hosts sports bloggers. Someone branded as "Blogging The Bracket" posts via SBNation and, yes, they have us as a 7-seed.

It's just some guy in a basement, it means nothing.

lol. there is no way they are a 7 seed. Go look at Bracket Matrix which has all the major bracket predictions.

yeah, but even if so all most of the others have Clemson as around a 4 or 5 seed, even a couple of 3s. They could lose tomorrow night and not drop any further than a 5. A 7 would mean a lot of crazy results this weekend and that is probably around 1 percent to drop that far.

they are actually more like a 4 seed right now, Lose tomorrow or Friday and could drop to a 5 seed at most.

You mean 12 or 13.

But the point is, seeding as 4 vs 5 is interchangeable after the first round. Seeding as 5 vs 7 is drastically different.

First round win %:
4-seed .788
5-seed .647

7-seed .613

Interesting note - a 5-seed has never won the NCAAT.
