5 of our top 8 recruits ever (according to 247 rankings) have committed to clemson since 2020. The rankings go back to 2004 as far as i can tell.
Our increased commitment to clemson basketball is paying dividends. We have facilities that are on par with our competition, and have hired higher quality assistant coaches. Now we have recent success to add to the recruiting deck.
Who are some other players that would have ranked in the top 100 nationally if there were recruiting rankings prior to the 2000's?

I think everyone is happy about that.
Hopefully it will convert to more regular NCAA appearances.
You went back to 2020 and we only have two NCAA appearances in that period which is ok I guess.
Hopefully the players we want to keep will stop transferring out. We've had a couple of players leave who started for other good programs after leaving and one (or two?) are in the NBA.

What are the chances for 4 star PF Mikey Wilkins? He visits at the end of the month?

Tree, Skip Wise, Sharone Wright, maybe Stan Rome.
Others like the Grant's, Nance, Campbell, Davis and Buckner were underrated in recruiting

top 10 players overall nationally that year. First true freshman ever to make 1st team All-ACC.
Stan Rome was a 1st team Parade All-American in football and basketball. He was drafted by the NFL and NBA/ Played 4 years as a WR for the Chiefs.
Sharone Wright was a 2nd Team Parade All-American.
Can you imagine Clemson getting 2 of the top 5-10 players in the country NOW? Of course, we got probation shortly after.
