3rd down on both sides of the ball last night were atrocious. When our offense has a 3rd and long, we might as well hand it to Mafah or punt. Our receivers made there dbs look like all-americans, they were blanketed by them. Klubnik seemed always late on his throws or was just downright scared to throw it. I still think we have a problem with our wide receiver coach, also! There's too much talent at that position to be playing like that, especially the two freshmen!

When you have third and long, you have to run longer routes. When you run longer routes, you need time for the routes to develop. For the routes to have time to develop, you need the offense line to block. If the offensive line doesn't block, none of those other things happen.
