Who do you guys have for our starting lineup next season?

RF - Creighton
CF- Cannerella
LF - Taylor

3B - Wright (if he doesn’t get drafted)
SS - Hall (or Transfer) or Canerella
2B - ??? (Transfer)
1B Amick

C Jarrell or Transfer

Should be a low 30 win team especially with the improved pitching with another year with Jimmy plus whatever transfers we have

Grice and Ingle are gone I think

We have 2 really good shortstop recruits coming in this year so wouldn’t be surprised to see them get some run in the middle infield. If ingle decided to come back that’d be huge.

I’m more worried about the bullpen. You have to imagine smith steps up into the weekend rotation leaving the bullpen with only a few proven guys. Will have to hope guys continue to progress and get some quality innings from freshman

Allen will get developed as well as Reid I like those two pieces a lot

Bartlow, Clayton, Hughes all could be leaders

Weiss I think was just hurt too much this year

Plus transfers could come in if we have any transfers out

Not sure about the pitching recruits we have with respect to the draft

In addition to your list,

Talent and Smith are both top 100 guys along with crieghton. Crieghton just needs some weight room and experience but he's going to be a good hitter.

Wright needs to move on, bats a liability. Hopefully Ingle comes back to develop his bat skills.

I think Bailey and garris can be good arms next season. Gordon wasn't bad. He just needs more experience.

I'm more concerned about hitting than pitching. Pitching actually wasn't bad. Bullpen needs help but we relied on youth all over the place. Looks bright.

I am not sure how his skills will translate to D1, but LHP Jacob McGovern is the best high school pitcher that I have watched in 20 years and I have watched a lot. Now, it may just be that his curve ball is so good that high school hitters don't have a chance, but I am interested to see how he does.
