2022 Recruiting Class

With 13 commitments for 2022 and if we lose another 6-8 through the portal which will then give us up to 20 walk-ons with scholarships. What do you think??

Heck we're already down to 70 something. We could probably take 30 if we could. Speaking of which, all you portal gurus, we can take 25 max recruits per class, correct? So if we do take 25 and have more spots, can we take the additional in transfers and not count towards the max class size?

I read a month or so back that they passed a rule this year

that allows you to sign up to 7 additional players to offset outgoing transfers which raises the limit on a recruiting class to as high as 32 players.

But with our recruiting methods, we aren't really set up to take that many players without lowering our standards significantly. And it's really late in the game to sign a huge class this year regardless.
