2021 ACC Football & College Playoffs

2021 ACC Football Tiers

Tier 1 - Clemson
Tier 2 - UNC, Miami
Tier 3 - NCSU
Tier 4 - Pitt, UVA, Va Tech, BC
Tier 5 - Wake, Ga Tech, Louisville, Fla St
Tier 6 - Duke, Syracuse

I get it. When SEC fans look at the recent ACC, and the ACC teams losing every bowl game in 2020, the league is without argument weak sauce beyond Clemson. And yes, league talent levels and successes can and will go up and down from year to year. But the ACC is a league of formerly talented basketball programs who financially survives on splitting Clemson Football bowl checks. That's my biased opinion. Any thoughts? Disagreement. Concurrence?

Fsu will be better this year they still have some talent and the transfer portal may pay off for them this year. We all know you can use the portal and make a pretty good team.

SEC football
Tier #1 Alabama
Tier #2, TAM, TN, MsSt, Ms, LSU, UGA, KY, Aub, Ark, Fla, Mizzo, Vandy, Coots

In last ten years, Alabama has 7 regular season losses to SEC teams (Clemson has 9 to ACC teams). They have run over their conference teams much more than Clemson has, so evidently, the SEC is very over rated as a conference! This is the argument you keep hearing about Clemson and the ACC, right?

About half the teams in the ACC are pretty good this year.
About half the teams in the SEC are pretty good this year, and same with others except the Pac 12.
