Sure up and extend (say until 2050) the ND agreement with a substantial penalty ($200 million) if they join another conf in Football is all that is needed to benefit Clemson
9 games play every team in Conf every 2 year, plus UofSC, the ND/ OOC opponent (probably from SEC)
Right now each school gets ~$33m/yr in a revenue distribution from the league. The only way it makes financial sense to add WVU is if they help to close the revenue gap with the SEC/B1G. Based on pretty much every reliable CFB person I’ve read, WVU is not a value add.
The only school out there that is big enough to move the needle is ND and with the structure of the proposed CFP expansion, they won’t need to join a conference to have access.
