Always like to keep track on His Holiness Walt Deptula and his picks that slay Vegas each and every year. Here we are thru Week 3:

Week 1- 5 wins, 4 losses (55%)
Week 2- 6 wins, 3 losses (66%)
Week 3- 5 wins, 14 losses (26%)

Season Total- 16 wins, 21 losses (45%)

at the end of the season, you need to throw out the two outliers, (best & worst). If you did that right now, he'd be right... (55%)

If you actually gamble his picks, do you think you get to tell your bookie / online gambling platform - "I'm going to not pay up this week because it's one of my 'outliers' for this season."

I'm a statistics analyst. Always throw out the outliers.

Mathematical Statistics/Probabilities are one thing but gambling and winning vs losing money is another.

Sure you can throw out the outliers but good luck with that when Vegas/Bookies come calling. The fact is he has a horrendous week and if you bet his picks you have lost money.
