I'm no basketball expert so correct me if I'm wrong

But when we fire a shot from 3 pt range and no Clemson player is within 12 feet of the basket, doesn't that mean that the only possible outcomes are we make the shot or give up a sure defensive rebound?

Pretty much.***

Yup. Which makes it a bad shot and a bad possession.

I scream "crash the boards" way too much at these guys. They tend to be scared of rebounding.

If the ball hits the rim at peak velocity with a descending parabolic trajectory, theoretically it could bend the time space continuum opening up a worm hole and thus creating a vacuum that Clemson basketball could not escape. I'm no expert but I think it's possible.

believe it's already happened***

The fact this team doesn't box out when the ball is in the air is baffling. I was doing that in eighth grade. And how many times we seen our guys flat footed while the other team is grabbing a rebound ? It's unbelievable

It's frustrating, because rebounding is all about effort.

You work hard to get position and put a butt on somebody, you are likely to get the rebound if it bounces to your side of the rim. You don't, and you're not likely to get it.

We have to hurry and get back down the court
