You mean retired former Senator John Kerry who is currently serving as the Biden administrations Special Presidential Envoy for Climate? The guy who goes around giving climate speeches which have presumably been vetted by the current administration? That retired former Senator?

The goal is something similar to what's happening in the Netherlands where the govt is seizing and shutting down thousands of farms to save the environment. Of course this will result in higher prices and/or the importing of food from places that are using even less environmentally friendly farming practices but you can count on the left not to care as long as they can pat themselves on the back. Why do you think Bill Gates is trying to buy up all the farmland in this country? The elites will be fine but the rest of us can starve, which is their unspoken goal since our existence is quite inconvenient to rich environmentalists.
