Because no one is going to sit through a 20 second ad for kid's games to watch that. I certainly didn't. I'm with you on that.
As a principle - not commenting on what this guy had to say - I would say that who runs law enforcement, and how it is run, has a direct effect on what happens in the street. Don't have to defend that idea: just ask the people killed in that parade. We'll have to ask them later, the laterer the better, but still.

Murdering is illegal, but people still do it.
I doubt when someone goes to kill someone else they are really worried about the possible punishement before, or even during the act.

The father of the child who was shot has a compelling argument as to how the DA is creating and propagating an environment of violence.

who was elected DA. The father's real complaint is a lack of accountability for one of his son's killers, who was 17, and in keeping with the DA's new policy, nobody under 18 will be tried as an adult under any circumstances. That means the max sentence for this shooter will be 8 years, and he probably won't serve that. The father is upset because he supported the DA, and he and his whole family voted for him, but now he feels like that was a mistake because he realizes the DA's policies are not holding criminals accountable, and he is feeling it in a very personal way. Yes, I blame it all on Fox news too.
