According to Tajh's tweeter account, it appears we have the same officiating crew we had for GT & PITT. At least now everyone will be watching them very closely.

not sure if accurate or not...however one tweet said the head ref (our coot friend) has already asked to be removed from the game...again not sure how accurate this is.

quit blaming the loss on them. If we had played like we should have, then bad calls wouldn't have made a difference.
Don't get me wrong - I don't like bad officiating either - but don't blame our poor play on them - it's time to move on.

It was a team loss. Period.
That said, refs and their performance should be open to critique as well, and if trends in how they call certain teams emerge then they should be recognized and considered when assigning them to future games.
This officiating squad lost the plot Saturday. It's not blaming them for the loss to point that out.

absolutely part of he reason we lost. There's no need in dwelling on it but you're lying to yourself if you think they didn't affect the outcome of the game. That being said the game shouldn't have been close enough to allow the officials to take over the game like that. There's a difference between whining about the officials non stop while blaming the loss entirely on them (Louisville) and acknowledging that the referees were awful and they changed he game multiple times with really bad calls.

So what you are saying is if those 14 points they got after being led down the field after legit 3rd down stops hadn't happened, we'd still have lost? Just trying to understand how it wasn't part of why.

Yeah, in my eyes, I know the team did enough to lose it too when all factors are accounted for, but remove one, I'm sorry. I can't go tl with this talk of "it didn't affect the game or a loss". Those were 3rd down stops that would have led to punts. That removes 14 points. Same mistakes made, no differences, take away those drive outcomes, Clemson wins by double digits with every turnover staying as it was, even the last one. That's just fact.

No it's not. ACC Championship and Bowl Games tend to have mixed crews from throughout the year. There could be bits and pieces of the same crew, but not all of them.

That crew was pitiful, and NO, I'm not whining about losing the game. There were at least three HORRIBLE calls that should not occur with a middle school crew. Film does not lie.

Why do people believe things like this? I highly doubt that the crew has even been announced or decided on as of yet. This is no different from the million times we've had people posting about how they heard Ron Cherry was calling some big game we were getting ready to play.
