2. It’$ equally about preventing acqui$ition by the ‘other’ a$ acquiring for it$elf.
3. Regarding ‘there are folks smarter than me’…those ‘smart folks’ signed onto GOR.
Personally, I’d can each and everyone of them. Visionaries don’t wear blindfolds.
4. Be grateful TDP (a visionary) hired Dabo, or Clemson isn’t in this conversation. Period.
5. There are no rules. This is a ‘the rich get richer ploy’…protectionism.
6. The schools that haven’t invested on par with revenue received, have a massive problem.
7. The 'House of Nike' will not be left behind.
8. Don’t ‘box’ your thinking. Thi$ i$ football and, perhap$, hoop$ reshuffling. It’$ not ‘non-
revenue’ $port$. That’$ for ‘conference$/affiliation$/alliance$’…a sidebar discussion!
9. Affiliations/alliances mean nothing. Conferences no longer exist for ‘academic’ brotherhood.
10. ‘Power’ is perception, solely…there aren’t a 100 ‘power anything’ teams. Back to $$

Excellent points. For those who say the SEC doesn’t want Clemson…see #2.
If you think the SEC doesn’t want Clemson’s Brand (they do), or Clemson’s strong fan following (they do), or Clemson’s football success (they do), or Clemson’s viewership (they do), you would be wrong on all counts. But perhaps most of all the SEC doesn’t want Clemson and other ACC schools to go to the Big 10.

is all being pushed by Espin and Fox Sports. Even though the ACC Network is also owned by Espin, they are apparently ok with the ACC Network just being their minor league system
