While BC doesn’t have Clemson’s raw talent, I think the Eagles have an edge in experience which could be the deciding factor tomorrow night. Two examples of this are the OL and QB.
There are no 4-star players on BC’s OL but this is a cohesive unit which has been together since the start of last season. They know the scheme and execute it very well.
DJ was on everybody’s radar as a high school player. Dennis Grosel was headed to Butler to play baseball when BC invited him to walk on. He doesn’t have the athletic ability of Phil Jurkovec but he’s done everything to position himself to be ready when called on. He’s a seasoned backup who knows the playbook cold and has the confidence of the coaches and his teammates.

They have played well so far this season. BC hadn't beaten a ranked team, although I think this is the year they break that streak, I just hope it isn't tomorrow night.

has a history of being able to circle the wagons, especially when others want to write us off for one reason or another. Granted, we have given them a lot of fodder to feed on this year so far. Hopefully, from our viewpoint, tomorrow night is when it starts to turn around.

I think this game depends on if our defense keeps the same intensity. Giving everything you have and being one of the best units in the nation and still losing games because the offense is one of the worst in the nation has to be demoralizing. We went 3 games without giving up an offensive TD then gave up 4 to NC State.
Yea we should win and be favored but BC has always played us competitively like NC State. This is definitely a game they can win if they score 15 points and trot out the same garbage.

I don't place as much value in two of those NC State TD's that came in overtime. Our D is still much better than the stats show. When the offense can improve their performance to rank in the 50's we will cruise back to Charlotte.

Theoretically, I agree, but what’s frustrating and also contrary to your take is that the box score disagrees.
Clemson still played a lot of mistake filled football. DJ and his receivers were still on different planets. The referees seemed to be on a mission.
All that said, it was another hard game to watch. Thankful for the win but the attrition continues to mount. Concerned for every game going forward for that reason.
