Your Favorite Clemson vs. Georgia Memory

Mine was after loosing 41 to 0 at home in 1976, we went to Georgia in 1977 and won 7 to 6. My uncle had to much to drink and went the wrong way on the railroad tracks after the game. After waiting for a few hours, he finally made it to the car. I also was witnessed the Treadwell winning kicks in '86 and '87. Go Tigers. See yall in Charlotte.

Two for me. One was the hail stone game in mid 60’s and the other was the game where the GREAT H Walker couldn’t find the Tiger end zone!
Not counting the game coming up saturday but it will be a big win

I was just a young'un but somehow I do remember the fact that Herschel Walker didn't even smell the goal line at one of those games.

was rainy in Athens that day. As typical, was cussed out by the Georgia faithful on the way into the stadium. But on the way out, they weren't so quick to talk big.

Listened to the 7-to-6 game while at a friend's pool when I was young. Couldn't believe we beat Georgia at Georgia.
On TV:
1986 my first year at Clemson watched the kick go through and partied all night afterwards.
In person:
1981 on the Hill with my Dad
1987 as a student

The 2013 long Sammy Watkins touchdown in response to the UGA long touchdown the drive before was pretty cool. The valley was rocking the whole game.

My sophomore year 1981. 13-3 Tigers!!! That game paved the way to Clemson's first national championship. And Georgia was the defending national champions on top of that.
That was a great day, and I remember most of it.

1987. Freshman year. Students packed in like sardines…my whole section was doubled up with people. Couldn’t sit because there was nowhere to sit. They would never allow that today.
The excitement at the end was epic.

short of the first down marker on fourth down with time running out. I kid, I kid.
Despite the loss, that was a heck of a game (Hines Ward playing QB with Torin Kertsey at RB) in the throw back uniforms on a beautiful day in Death Valley. Had friends in town and it was a great day other than the result.

My most memorable games that I went to would have to be 4 home games,starting with '81(13-3),'87(21-20),'90(34-3) and 2013(38-35).I hope there will be another memorable moment this Saturday night since I am going and not a bad one like so many Georgia games that I have been to that did not turn out to well,both home and away.
