Trevor Lawrence Clemson Full Highlight video. Good Lord have mercy!!! TL16 was A generational talent, the likes we might never see again at Clemson. When comparing the mechanics of TL16 and Cinco it becomes quite obvious that they are completely dissimilar. It is not all about arm strength, perfect spirals and innately placed accurate throws, all of which TL16 seemed to do effortlessly. But while watching the video, do a little test. From the snap of the ball, count one thousand one, one thousand two........roughly 2 seconds. At that point TL16 releases the pass. Doesn't matter if it is a long throw or a short throw, the pass comes out in 2 seconds. This promotes the "Rhythm" that we do not have this year. TL16 was seldom sacked even though the OL he had was inferior, as is the one now. But a generational talent like TL16 either threw the ball in 2 seconds or took off running where he also excelled. His passes bored through the air with perfect spirals but the receivers will tell you his ball was easy to catch and felt light.

We were pleasured to watch this young man for 3 years and his talents and exploits will become Clemson legend. However, we cannot expect his successor, who is a large, lumbering player whose mind and body act and react slower and who cannot throw a spiral, to play at the same level. He is not capable, nor is he physically gifted to do so. We should all savor the moments we had with TL16 but should not expect a different man with different gifts to play the game the same way. Offensive coaches should know better than to attempt to plug Cinco into TL16's offense. They should know better but they obviously don't.........so the team suffers.

Yep I had a bad feeling that TL was so good that this season would be difficult.
I didn’t feel like it would be as bad but knew the drop off was likely.

showed up in 2021 and that big nasty Georgia D may have had more to do with his mental break-down than imagined..but maybe not since he’s still behind his 2020 level..

but to his credit I have seen minute improvement each of the last 3 weeks in longer throws to the sidelines & across the middle as well as some power runs.
