try coming down to Charleston and try finding even decent sports talk. I'm here (since Walt is off) forced to listen to Bobby Hartin. Good lord, almost painful. Pretty sure he's a coot fan too. Y'all don't know how good ya got it up there.

FYI, I use the streaming app to listen to WCCP.

I like Bobby Hartin. He was a coot student. I think he keeps it pretty level in terms of bias. I can't say I'd be as air as he is if I were on the radio. But I also moved from charleston to Columbia, so I have to listen to cbs coot radio. I at least get swanny at night though.

correct. Bob's a good guy and does a ton for local charities especially the Ronald McDonald house---and he's the ONLY local sports talk show in Chucktown.....But...

during his undergrad years at usuck, he was on the cheerleader squad. For many years, he was the president of one of the local gamecock clubs (there are 2)--while he was doing his own radio show. His legendary rant on the Monday show after 63-17 is never mentioned amongst chickenfans---he vowed never to give his alma mater another nickel while Lou Holtz was on the payroll (I understand the GC bigwigs met with him to smooth ruffled feathers---after all, ya can't have the Prez of the GC club and mod of the only sports talk show in town blasting everything connected with the chicken athletic dept)

but, as stated previously, he's a good guy--and will be the first to tell ya he's a gamecock fan
