routine, bussing kids to schools right next to each other but that start an hour apart, because reasons. Anyway, saw tons of cars that had their lights on...is there something going on that I don't know about?

you ride the bus and experience the kids who are only there because the law requires it up close and unmonitored.
My kids learned all the bad words from their elementary/middle school classmates, but 2 months on the bus and they could make a shank from a push-pop straw.

I never recall getting home when mom or dad was home and stirring around. Mom liked to stay out with friends, dad was a firefighter who worked 2on/4off and was asleep most of the time. I was raised by wildcats and questionable characters from the local Baptist church.
So I had to take care of my little brother most of the time. He turned into a gay heroin addict, so I don't think I did that good of a job.

kid, because I think he didn't know how to handle those ghey emotions. That would be scary.
He threatened to kill me and my friends, knife in hand, more than once. Just a very odd kid.
