He did not have the slightest limp. Then in Dabo's Sunday night presser he claimed he still did not know the extent of the injury. Come on. They knew within hours if not sooner.

Doctor (orthopedic surgeon) said you almost never have a sprained LCL without damage to other ligaments, I suspected that the injury has been overstated. Is that speculation? Sure it is. That is all it is.

I've had the suspicion that DW's bone bruise was the real problem and that it was the primary reason for the MRI. According to that website listed in the OP it takes an MRI to determine the severity of a bone bruise. I know he how he landed and I've said all along the bruise was the problem.
The article says a bone bruise takes a few weeks to months to heal. If it were cause by the twisting of his leg and not the crash onto the cleat (padding in that area) he wouldn't be practicing tomorrow.

I didn't make a point, I intended to dissipate the gloom and doom of Tnetters thinking that DW wasn't going to play. I've never even suggested that our coaches would lie much less accuse them of lying.
DW is practicing tomorrow, the coaches predicted/said that it was possible for him to play next weekend. The only logical conclusion is that many Tnetters had a kneejerk reaction and jumped to the conclusion that DW's injury is much worse than reported.
Try that again.

The medical professionals have cleared him to practice. The doctor that read the MRI conveyed to our Coach that his playing in two weeks was reasonable or we wouldn't have heard that he's day to day.

That bone bruise crap is just something they threw on top of the real injury, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in that. They aren't even talking about that anymore and said he doesn't really have any pain. The whole ordeal will be making sure his knee stays in place and has a good secured knee brace.
