The team will win a minimum of 11 games next year, and most

Dec 9, 2021, 8:47 PM

folks will complain about it. Sheesh. 2012 - won 11..remember 4th and 16? That was fun. Sammy Watkins got hurt in that game and was out early. Next season - 2014 Orange Bowl...Turned it over a bunch, but still won against OSU - won 11 that year. 2014 - won 10, but gave Oklahoma second worst loss in their history. 2015 - won big, but Louisville, ND, and even USC were close. 2016 won it all, but lost to Pitt with the day after fans thinking all the hopes were lost. 2017 - Lost to Syracuse, again thinking all was lost - made it to the CFP again. 2018...well, 2018 was nice.

How many times do we need to go through the stress-then-victory cycle before we can begin to be just a little bit positive???

The really old timers who lived through the 60s and 70s get it; the folks like me from the lost 90s-2000s get it. SO....what gives?

Where is LBB's sunny attitude when you need it?

Go Tigers!

no way we win 11 games if we don't.......

hit the portal to mitigate our roster management issues.........it's simple math.

assuming we have no more decommitments or transfers, we're looking at signing 12-14 players next week.

That leaves 12ish OPEN scholarships which means: Walk-ons, transfers, and/or late offers to players which is tough to swing at this point in time.

I think the roster management issues are more important than the next coordinator hires, although BOTH are paramount to our future 11+win/playoff/national title aspirations.

You realize there is still spring signing day right?

Dec 9, 2021, 9:43 PM

There are plenty of good players who will not make there decision until then. Now whether we actually offer any of those guys is a completely different question. But only signing half your class during the early period is not the end of the world. If we still only have 12-14 signed come spring signing then panic.

Plenty of players maybe

....just not elite difference-maker type players.

Highly rated kids are signing in December, it's now the real national signing day.

If you want to remain elite you don't sign half your class in February. It would be catastrophic.

The schedule is pretty soft

Other than ND, it should be smooth sailing

It should’ve been smooth sailing this year too, but it wasn’t.

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we win 11 games next year.

Player wise, what big loses do we have?

Get most back along with a bunch that were injured.
