Floor installers wanted $600 to just cut out the carpet.

And the padding, then haul it off. I did it in 3 hours w an razor blade and then burnt it all:
You FN kidding me, $200 an hour to pull out carpet??? I need a flooring business.

Enough to pay high prices for something I can just do after work. That’s called being smart. I’d rather save the money and go to Europe this year w the money I saved doing these things.

I had my house cleared by movers so the flooring folks

would have an easier time. Got a call when I was at work saying that they needed to move the washer and dryer, and would I like them to add it to the bill. $100. $50 per appliance.
I drove home to move them myself cause principle, only to find the floorfolks had already moved them.
