Crowd chant / cheer

Rewatching the game from last night has me wondering if Clemson has ever had an in game chant or cheer assisted by the band that would be the equivalent of the gamecocks’ Buuuum Bum Bum Buuuum Go #####. We have the Cadence Count but it’s a different type thing.

The band director tried years ago and even taught some new ones pregame but none of them caught on but that "GO" chant on first down. Our crowd just doesn't participate for some reason. "Rage Defense" was good at first but now it's got too may versions and too cutesy. Needs to be more intimidating.

I see where the coots started a "Gamecock Walk" which is a duplicate of the "Tiger Walk". They can't originate anything. Have to copy a successful program in everything they do.

I appreciate the answer.

I for one am a huge fan of stadium chants and cheers and feel like we’re missing out not having one. The best in sports is the FSU war chant. The drum major’s whistle leading into it is classic.
