You know what was new today?

Sep 25, 2021, 9:47 PM

We’ve all heard about problems with our OL, qb, and play calling in every game this year but today we also saw some new things creep up.

We had several players on offense taking plays off. They should have been fresh since we ran such few plays but watch the tape. Wrs didn’t even finish running their routes and when they knew they weren’t going to get the ball, they didn’t block for the ball carrier. On the rare times they did block, they half assed and game minimal effort.

Also, way to much self inflicted wounds with penalties, mainly jumping off sides. Very poor self discipline today. In the past self discipline and effort could never be questioned.

Apparently Grisham doesn't think WR's have to block. Galloway also believes he doesn't have to block.

When Morris was here, that was one of the FIRST things he did: WR's block or they don't play.

Sad to see how far we've fallen.

Screw Calford.

Imagine you are a WR not getting the ball and forced to watch a guy get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to overthrow someone else every down while you get beaten up on blocks for room and board. You might have a motivation problem too. Transfer portal was the beginning NIL is the end. The NFL can't lower the age requirement fast enough in my book. College football will be a mess until these guys can go straight to the pros.

At this point that’s an excuse and if players aren’t getting it done then

sit them and give someone else on the bench a chance. Maybe a little hunger and competition would prove to be motivating.

You forgot tuition, food, tutoring, clothing, private gym membership, personal trainers and a college degree if desired.
I had to pay for mine.

I believe the offense is a lost cause. Not sure it can be fixed with the current offensive coaching staff.

It is a complete mess

NIL is not helping things either

Definitely seems to be a lot of "going thru the motions" out there on offense.

I made the comment at halftime to the people I was with (Ftr I’m a big believer in our coaches knowing best and I pay little attention to fans opinions) but I made the comment that we should put our ENTIRE SECOND TEAM OFFENSE IN…they could have litterally done no worse!!! And that’s just the truth!!!
