I am going to Tweetsie with the inlaws next weekend. Reds sister bought the ENTIRE family tickets (including the two kids that are under 2, which are free, so she charged us an additional $38 for a ticket that isnt needed) before asking anyone if they could go/wanted to go. Luckily(?!), we were available next weekend and Red told me that it was "the weekend after your birthday" so like a sane person, I thought that an attraction over three hours away would be Saturday evening. Red and I talk about it another handful of times, always being referred to as "the weekend after my birthday".
Today she texts me and asks if my parents can watch the dog. SHORE. I ask if we will be dropping her off Saturday and picking her up Sunday. Red then tells me the ####### train ride is at 6pm. In Boone. On a Friday. Boone, as most geography experts are well aware of, is three hours from the Triangle. So this whole ### time, Red knew it was on a Friday, never communicated that to me, because, as a sane person does, doesnt schedule activities three hours away on a workday an hour after normal work hours.
So now, we have not only overpaid, but now I get to use some vacation hours to go spend time with my inlaws in the freezing ####### cold on a ####### train ride.

Thats why the whole ####### crew is going and getting a mountain cabin for the weekend. Just because they're wealthy, doesn't mean they're smart, reasonable, or not overall Cali trash.

It seems like everyone would know what Tweetsie is. I mean, it's the place where 6-year-old RH Tig saved Fred Kirby by shooting an Indian that was attacking the train with his trusty finger-gun. He never would have live to 86 years old if I hadn't been there.

Bravo!
I appreciate your quick thinking. My brother took his lever riffle water gun along and picked off a few injuns on our ride through the mountains.
