I can see the possible controversy on the fumble, but the targeting couldn’t have been any clearer.

Yes. They have an argument on the incomplete/or fumble call, but if they claim they can conclusively make the call even after numerous replays then somebody is lying. I watched it a dozen times and doggone if I would feel comfortable one way or the other, so Whining Ryan needs to get a life. But that was a targeting, weaponizing his helmet and it made no difference whether he hit Lawrence in the head or the ribs, it was targeting. What cost OSU that game was the difference in coaching. Three times in the red zone with first downs and couldn't convert? Inexplicable decision to block the punt deep in Clemson territory, and rough the kicker? Doesn't go for two after his last score when it might have played a role late in the game and failure would not have hurt OSU? Decided to match up his pass rusher with a sophomore tackle and get whipped all day? And lastly storming around the sidelines like a spoiled brat, the kind you wouldn't let your kid play with. Yuck.

Agreed! Just because you don't like the rule, that doesn't make the call controversial. Based on the way the rule is written, the call was 100% the correct call.

Can't understand natty being 100. It was 28-25 mid 3rd quarter and a controversial call on the pi from T. It's also one of the best receiver/db matchup in any game. The score wasn't indicative of how close the game could have been.
