You just cant measure a team by stars in recruiting

Feb 4, 2016, 10:06 PM

Stars in recruiting does mean a lot but if you dont have the coaching staff to steer these guys in the right direction as far as development then its all for naught. Miami constantly recruits at a high lecel but look at their production on the field.
I think our coaching staff is great at developing players, we can turn a walk-on into a star and get 2 stars recruits drafted in the pros. Maybe im alone in this but the way our organization is built I dont really see a recruiting difference.
Im going to enjoy these golden years that Dabo has produced and im glad he is the face of our team and school. Dynasties and empires fall but legacies are etched throughout time.

Agree but it always helps to have talent. With that said look at the Wallace kid he's listed as a 3 star but he's much higher than that. I would play him at corner and receiver he's a tremendous athlete.
