It was56-14at the end but we had USC.fans all around us in the early 80'ss I think. To their credit, they did not say a word and did not wear their colors. We all loved it and of course knew who had given their tickets to the #####. We were doubtful to win but we won the hell out of it!

I don't remember a 56-14 game in the 80's. I remember a 45-0 in 1989.

That was my favorite...all-time. Domination beginning to end.

The 89-90-91 team was ridiculous. Defense was probably the best in the nation over that three year period.

1st and 35 Charlie Whitehurst game in cootlumbia. They just knew that was the year for them to beat us (we were on another of many 3 year win streaks because we have had many not just ONE) and the stadium was a buzz the whole game talkin' smack. When we picked up the first down, you could literally see 80,000 mouths drop open and the place went quiet because they knew what was about to happen.
