Remember Beamer was at OK and had a preexisting relationship with both rattler and stogner. It's really not that surprising.

Sorry I meant from the fact they’re a perennial .500 in there 100+ year playing football and the fact they’ve only had 2 QBs drafted in that entire span. Guess there weren’t any other good football schools that wanted him. Thinking about it when you go to a crappy school where expectations are very low it’s easier to look good.

I am going to quibble....just a little. It does not matter that Carolina has only had two qb's recruited to the pro's. If it had this coaching staff for the last 100 years that stat wouldn't be bullchit.
However, I stick with you on this not and that is that they had 100 years of not being able to hire a coaching staff that could get it done. that is the stat the matters....unless they finally hired that staff this time.
So will Beamer be out 3 years from now? That is the only question that matters about SC. Right now they have an advantage. A young staff and current popularity of the SEC to young new recruits spells trouble for us....unless they trip on their ##### as usual and start over again in 3 years.

Only a dumpster fire like SC would sign such an attitude. Have you seen the kind of guys they are living off the past few years. Most come in the back door and many from under a rock. You ask, where in the heck did he come from and play with last year. That is where this sport has gone especially for programs like SC. In your right mind as a fan how could you proud of such an operation. No foundation is being built that will last long. Yes, they might rise up and have a good year but they can not sustain anything.

Also just looked it up. They’ve only had 2 QBs ever drafted. One in the 17th round and one in the 9th round. ??

He is the highest rated QB SCar has had ever I think. Great for Beamer to bring the kid in who can start day one. Great pick up for them so no need to be negative. Maybe they will be more competitive with us now and the SCar game will actually be a real game.
