Freaking out. We owed 5400 in taxes.
On a whim decided to try filing married, separete.
Dropped to 500.
W t f?

Now I feel I lost money the past few years

It's strictly a voluntary thing...mostly for people that want to see more episodes of NASA moon landings filmed before a live studio audience from a warehouse in New Mexico.
