Report: Georgia football staff member tests positive for COVID-19

Georgia Bulldogs director of sports medicine Ron Courson has tested positive for COVID-19, per an Atlanta Journal-Constitution report Wednesday. The AJC report cited "a person with knowledge of the situation" that Courson was not at practice Wednesday and had tested positive in the last 24 hours. UG Read Update »

Here we go with this BS again. I wish they would just stop testing people for no good reason. Why can't it be, if you're sick and/or feel like crap...stay your a$$ home, if you're not.....then carry on. The whole testing just to test is most of the problem

You do realize that nearly 650k people have died, right?

Sep 2, 2021, 10:56 AM

And a person infected with the Delta variant is likely to spread it to at least 9 people? And that asymptomatic people still spread it?

Why are our fans so stupid?

Right, so let's leave the southern border wide open for active cases to flow in on the daily. Funny how that never gets mentioned.

High school games all over SC are cancelled this week and the failure of people to be vaccinated continues to rear it's ugly head. In the past 7 days Anderson County had more cases than at any time on the graph of cases. I pray that Ron Courson and all the Georgia and Clemson coaches, players and staff will be safe and well.

Wife’s dad was vaccinated and was just confirmed, now having COVID.

Perhaps the magic shot we all got wasn’t nearly as effective as the media/govt would have us believe

Yes, one personal anecdote should undermine the entire vaccine...

How's he doing, by the way? Severe infection or is he going to recover without a hospital visit?... which is exactly the result "the media/govt" have been describing from the beginning.

The only way to eradicate the virus is to have so many people vaccinated that the virus runs out of suitable hosts. That's not the case right now, especially in the southeast. The more people it jumps to, the longer we're all going to have to deal with it affecting our lives.

Vaccine is about 90-94% effective so yes, that 6-10 % is possible.
If it was medical-gov BS, we would have thousands more with COVID in SC .

A horror movie always begins with gov politics not believing a scientist.
