Gonna sound like our coaching staff, but in watching and rewatching the game, we had opportunities on almost all offensive plays, but a drop, a slightly off throw, a missed block, Ross not fighting for the ball, etc. turns a positive gain into a loss or zero gain. TE changed some scheme up early to give our guys a chance. OL played OK, RBs played well, even the WRs (Collins especially) were getting open.
The coaches are putting our guys in position, the guys just need to do what they're supposed to do.
Maybe some coaching tweaks are needed, but based on what I saw, our fellas need to step up and ball-out like the players they can be!

not fighting for the ball is being very kind. flopped to draw a penalty and just stayed there. to me that and Ajou's non attempt to block speak volumes

Every team is improving, including FSU, but we are not. There is internal friction somewhere.

surprising from a Tyler Grisham coached group. Thought toughness would be something he brought to the room, but it's as though they just aren't willing to do it.

drive against Pitt, maintaining that momentum, we couldn't be stopped.
Maybe, they ought to bench the entire first team our first possession, thereby sending a message: get your heads out of your behinds, the chips off your shoulders and play frigging football.
Every man on that team was recruited and given one heck of a scholarship to one of the finest institutions in this country. He was given the chance to play for a Head Coach and several assistants with two dammmm national titles, six straight ACC titles and six straight state titles under their belts. We have premier facilities that a hundred other schools would die for. And their requirement is to do one thing: give us 110% of their efforts.
These bullsh*t problems with poor attitudes, lack of focus, envies, jealousies, etc. are just that: BULLSH*T spelled with capital letters. By God if they can't see the frigging ball, then make them wear glasses. If they can't catch the darn things, then put super glue on their freaking hands. If they can't block, then make them charge into goal posts until they learn how to block.
We're not dealing with a butttload of babies: these are grown men given one he1l of an opportunity to make their marks in one of the most successful programs in the nation. I just don't buy into the crap I've witnessed this season, for there are absolutely no excuses...none...nada nada. It's past due time for a fire to be lit up under the asssses of a whole bunch of people, and I pray to God someone...anyone has the cotton-picking matches, ready, willing and able to fire em up!

I believe there has to be locker room issues going on. Friction b/t players, players and coaches, and possibly b/t coaches. There is no other explanation at this point. Something has happened the public is not privy to. I have a feeling the origin is possibly related to Dixon. This appears to be a divided team.

right now. Just as winning is contagious, so is a lack of confidence and right now I have yet to see DJ, our O-line or receivers play with anything that resembles confidence. Add in the lack of execution and play calling issues, I think this Tiger team will do well to just find a way to win.
Unfortunately I'm long past thinking the 2021 Tigers will miraculously unleash a mighty tide of offensive prowess. At this point I just hope we can string together enough positive plays on offense to beat FSU and keep our home winning streak alive...

Now that the pressure of a successful season is off these guys, maybe they can concentrate of fundamentals and getting better.
