It's not about what others that has no direct connection to Clemson thinks or feels about the young men that has committed to Clemson bc, our coaching staff most likely believe they have the best class in the country with the way they fit Clemson in every aspect of the game, and for the university. Dabo and his coaching staff recruit Clemson men that represent Clemson in a 5 star way!!!

But even better to see the 3 star underrated HS recruit that blossoms into one of the best (Isaiah Simmons, Wayne Gallman, Gaines Adams the 1st few that come to mind, but many more). I have full trust in our coaches to uncover the talent potential, while the national pundits' view looks only at stars. I will take our recruiting class over any other (regardless of stars) based on the talent as well as the type of players that we recruit.

Maybe someone can tell me how they are determined…

Clemson, Alabama, and Georgia all have 18 commits, no 5 stars, and 16 4 stars. Clemson has a higher average ranking than both of those teams, but is ranked 6th while Alabama is ranked 2nd (looks like their commit numbers don’t add up right), and Georgia is ranked 5th.

On top of that, Clemson has 16 4 stars to Georgia’s 12.

Does the SEC automatically start with an extra 500 points??

Yep if you’re in the SEC you get a 100 pt bonus and if you’re in the ACC you get a 100 pt penalty
